Welcome to the official Tincan wiki. This wiki is dedicated to providing the most up to date technical information about Tincan software and apps. Unlike most social chat applications that are entirely managed by a central authority, typically a large corporation, Tincan puts its users and community in charge of their own self-hosted servers. While the TincanServer application may have a slightly higher than normal technical aptitude requirement to setup, the desktop client and mobile app are very simple and user friendly.
